We have been going through quite intensive workshops on colour, visual grammar and typography recently, which helped me with the design of this flyer/poster for the club in East London, my friend has asked me to design a flyer for their night in April, I have done two versions.

Even though they have liked it, I was told that the most important
bit on the flyer is their LOGO, you can see it in the corner, little black square, So I had to redesign the flyer based on the square. Because I really liked my original composition, I decided not to get rid of it completely and the final result is the following:
So I have sent it off for the approval, so lets hope it will get published! :)

At the moment we are concentrating on quite a few projects and one of them is typography. I went to Design museum yesterday, where there is a very interesting installation called "Shape my Language", by a very famous typographer Bruno Maag. Visually its very impressive, as it is made out of hundreds of plastic cards with a font on each one of them. It looks like a rain of letters coming down from a ceiling. There are characters from different languages and some of them are quite unusual.
